cabinet weight incorrect?

I was storing some fish in the cabinets top shelf of main hunters lodge. It's says the cabinet is 8.71 / 10.00 KG. Which I presume leaves room for an additional 1.29 KG weight? So I figure cool I will add the 1.2KG of fish, which should only total 9.91 KG but nope it would not allow it. So is this a bug or does my fish actually weigh more than what it's saying!

Hmm... Strange. Fish have had trouble with weight before. I'll look into this.
