I love the survival genre... And you folks have hit it out of the park with this one.

I grew up in the boonies, log cabin, woodstove for heat, etc. Playing this game reminds me of my childhood.

It's the middle of summer as I type this, but when the wind kicks up in game and the snow starts flying, I feel the chill and can imagine I feel the sensation of ice cutting my face just like it would in real life. The first time I stepped around the corner and saw the trapper's cabin it felt like coming home after playing in the woods all day when I was a kid. There is nothing more comforting and *safe* feeling than the sight of smoke curling from the chimney when you're freezing and can't feel your fingers or toes anymore.

Your team has given a gift to all the folks who didn't grow up in the boonies like me. You've captured the sense of alone-ness, and the bitter cold, and the desperate hope that you haven't make a horrible horrible mistake when you're too far from anyone else to call for help.
