Dropped items disappearing

Hope this hasn't already been posted, sorry if it has! I've run into an issue of items (eg hides, guts, saplings) disappearing when I load the game. I had them curing in the farmers homestead and they were gone when I loaded the game again. All other items stored in cabinets were still there so I don't think the house itself reset. It's only happened once so far and I've played quite a bit.

Have you tried going through a different door? We were having a bug awhile ago where the farm house was recognized as two interiors depending on what door you went through.

I'll give it a try! I forgot to mention this also included snares I had set up outside near the house.
