Map and ideas

I was thinking of a map system that you can sketch or take as there are many you can see such as the mystery lake office or even a topographical map. One that is blank until you've trekked the area or moved to the location developing as you go.

Maybe taking a lit log from fire to throw at a wolf or building a spear with a hunting knife or Maybe using the rifle as a club once out of ammo possibly even tying the hunting knife on the front as a bayonet if you have a spare knife or desperate for survival. Maybe dig a pit and make a trap for wolves and deer with sharpened pungee sticks.
