Too easy to survive

If I can find the barn it's really easy to survive. I could have a rifle kill a bear take all its meat then i'm set on food. I can easily create a fire to melt then boil the water then i'm set for water. There is would be no reason for me to go out unless to kill wolves and gather water, other than that there is not much to do in my downtime ingame.

Eventually those tasty bear steaks will run out and you will need to venture forth into the world to get more food but even if you survive on shooting animals that walk by the barn but you will still run out of bullets and need to venture forth once again

and it is on the forays into the world were danger will be waiting for you

but you are correct the barn is a pretty decent base to stay in

And you need many things else like scrap metal or cloth,... Have to travel to many places to gather it all, so that you can stay alive longer.
