Run away if you have epilepsy, this is a potentially dangerous .gif :?

Bringing up your inventory when in the dark for a minute makes your eyes squint, every time, especially on a big and bright monitor. The survival panel doesn't have this problem, less white in it. Maybe the brightness of the UI could be adjusted on the fly based on the average brightness of displayed pixels over time?
