Anyone else encountered this fatigue problem/feature?

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I thought I'd post it. After sleeping for 10 hours at night with very low fatigue, I ventured outside the trappers homestead outside to find food. I was sprinting the whole time but was perhaps out there for an hour in-game time. While I was out there, I was chased by a wolf but managed to scare it off with a torch. As I made my way to the unnamed pond, my character became exhausted. This seems unusually quick to me. Is it because of the sprinting? If so... very devious of you game devs. If not, help.

Well it all depends because there are multiple factors...

1. You could become fatigued If you were running against a strong wind channel.

2. Sprinting for long periods of time will become tiring due to you carrying a heavy pack plus running in snow isn't easy. Perhaps, try cycling between walking and running. Listen to your characters breathe as well.

3. Your back could be heavy as well, and your pack will cause you to become fatigued at a faster rate if you are encumbered.

Hope that helps, cheers!
