A couple of resource questions:

A couple of resource questions playing The Long Dark at the Pilgrim level in Coastal Highway:

 

1. Since the updates, rabbit groves are not mapping. I know from past play about where they should be. Is it safe to assume they remain in these general areas? Is there a reason they are not mapping?

 

2. Spawning deer carcasses-- once spawned in a location, do they ever re-spawn?  Or is it one and done?

AFAIK...

1. Rabbits have been mapping correctly and in the same places for me (although a wildlife refresh is due in an upcoming update according to the DLC roadmap), so this may be a bug you're experiencing?

2. One and done I'm afraid, and once you first interact with a carcass, it begins to decay as with a carcass you have hunted.

I recently started a new Interloper run and rabbit groves have been mapping fine for me so far (and have been in the same spots they usually are). Ptarmigan nests have the same map icon as rabbits, but if you hover over it on the map it will say Ptarmigan Nest.
