I'm sitting in Blackrock 😊
I'm in no rush. I have a lot of time to think. I'm doing a test with a hot cup of herbal tea. I wonder how long the herbal tea in my backpack will remain hot.
Hot is an attribute that is granted to some foods immediately upon finishing cooking over a fire. Hot status is short-lived. For hot herbal tea, wearing off after 8.2 game minutes indoors or 4.1 game minutes outdoors.
I do a few tries. It comes out the same every time.
I get the same result with a cup of coffee, Reishi Tea and Rose Hip Tea.
I wonder if they are constant values or if they change in some way 🤔

I found a tin of coffee today. It was completely ruined. 
Even so, I managed to make a cup of coffee out of it which was 50% quality 😀
I noticed that this mechanic works according to the following formula:

Coffee_Cup_Condition = Coffee_Tin_Condition + 50
wherein:
If Coffee_Cup_Condition > 100 then Coffee_Cup_Condition = 100

The same goes for cooking old raw meat.
The same applies to making herbal tea.
What is not done for the sake of science 😊

Just got back from my evening walk 😊
A thought comes to mind 🤔
This door is the gateway to the new loading location. (picture 1).
So is what I see behind the gate on the right now true or fiction? (picture 2).
I walk into the prison grounds and do a quick test.
I light a campfire near the concrete posts (picture 3).
After lighting the campfire, I go outside again.
Now I understand everything 😀
I just want to say that I am very grateful for the ingenuity and hard work of the developers ❤
I really love this game and the whole team that it makes 🌡👍❤

I hunted a wolf today. 😀
After collecting the meat from the wolf's carcass, I perform tests with the wolf's meat.
I cook some of the meat and leave some of it raw.
I put the meat in different places.
Then, for a few days, I make a careful observation of the degradation. 🤔
Conclusions:
(test made for Interloper level)
1. Cooked wolf meat kept "outdoors" or "indoors" degrades 3 times slower than raw meat.
2. Both raw meat and cooked meat from the wolf kept "indoors" degrades 9 times faster than the meat kept "outdoors".

Note: "indoors" includes locations with a loading screens to enter them.
Note: "outdoors" includes locations without a loading screens to enter them, also in the trunks of cars.

This is what I like about TLD.  It has a great many afficionados who do much skilled analysis of life in Bear Island.

I suspect that, from the comments that I read, there are many players who are of this ilk.

I decided to go to Old Substation today.
Before I left Blackrock Prison, I had a cup of hot tea.
I decided to go the main road.
After encountering Timberwolves, I lit a flare.🧨
With a lit flare in my hand, I ran boldly on, completely ignoring the Timberwolves.
Interestingly, they didn't do anything to me.
They only ran in circles, but none of them bit me.
This way I happily reached my destination. 😀
I am now richer with a new experience with Timberwolves.
