Step 1: Find wolves

Step 2: Provoke them, by looking meaty, then quickly run onto the jetty, wolf will run right below the jetty and keep moving in place while his legs keep moving...

Step 3: Move to the border while still landing on top of the jetty: the wolves will reach you, even you are far above them

Step 4: Repeat this with all three wolves that are around and become dog food (optional)

Just to clarify: Not only can wolves attack far upwards, but also your own location is shifted for the duration of the fight. When the wolf attacked me the fight took place on the ground, so i was seeing the wolf from the ground looking upwards, and after the fight had ended I was up on the jetty again.
