Cabin Fever grace period for Custom games

I was interested in playing a Custom game based off Interloper but I tested and it seems the early cabin fever grace period is forced for Custom.  I'd like the option to turn off the cabin fever grace period to more accurately make a custom game based off Interloper if I'd be interested in making it more challenging for myself.
