Need help

I am unable to use the milling machine in long dark on Xbox one i cant even see it i picked up the flashlight and the gun cleaning kit when I retrieved the spear and hat to use the forge in the shed to fix it but was unable to use the milling machine need help

the milling machine is from the predux mission "fix my rifle" and now no longer exists as there is no longer a need for it.
