deer gone wild (running in place)

So I was recording a nice snowfall, just so I could have a video for myself, when I noticed something about the Mystery Lake cabin-area deer herd...

I know animals running in place is nothing new--was able to shoot a wounded wolf down once because of it--but this is insane. Never seen an entire herd do it. 

They only start running when spooked--they move when they run, at first, then they stop running, until approached again (for the most part). I was able to walk right up to one and shoot it (not kill it lol) and then.... I'm not sure how I made that rifle shot from so far away but he's dead now lol.

(fast forward past the "deer watching" for the bug).

I've reported the bug in the form but I just wanted to share!
