Using left mouse button in menus

Several times I have had problems when using my left mouse button in the radial menu, (possibly main menu too).

When I give my LMB a very quick dab it works OK, if I give a slow dab and press for a few milliseconds it activates a different command.

It would be better if there was greater differentiation between the two commands.
