yoli
Hi, I wanted to report a behavior that annoyed me from the beginning in TLD being how the animal pathfinding seem to ignore altitude. When we are top of hill and a wolf is downwards, two things should happen: it should be more difficult for the wolf to detect us, even if we are in horizontal sight range. Verticality should have an impact on sight range. the effort to reach us when ridding the hill should be higher. Currently animals seem to be ridding hills at the same speed as if is was flat ground. Also, a steep hill should make animals think twice before chasing us, as it will drain more energy from them. I feel in current implementation altitude is not providing any stealth bonus for players to hide away from animals, I think it should.
RiotAct
Agree 100% - the game should take the altitude delta into account for things like this.
