[SPOILERS] Episode 2 Game Breaking Bug

I can't pick up the bear pelt from the forestry lookout. I've tried sleeping, I've tried restarting the game, I even committed suicide and reloaded from checkpoint (which lost me an hour of work). I really didn't want to have to start episode 2 all over again without any materials from the first episode. Can anyone help?
