Game save/load options...

Hello all,  I've had the game since the beta days but haven't been on in awhile until Wintermute.  Issue: in story mode I just entered the church after being attacked by a wolf and barely alive.  When I do a checkpoint load I'm in the same spot and die every time.  Is this a glitch or do I have to start from the beginning?  Very annoying.  Am I missing something, a load option I'm not seeing?

There was a bug that resulted in this kind of problem. It's been patched, although you may need to start again for that to work. Or, you may not need to. Nobody has addressed that point, so far.
