Recover Wood from Extinguished Fires

I love that the game isn't a simulation.  However, there are some things that just don't make sense.  One of those is when a wind or storm picks up and blows out your fire.  It treats it as thought the wood burns out immediately.  Granted, added wind might fuel the burn, but I get the feeling it's supposed to be the storm putting the fire out.  If so, I'd think wood recovery feasible.

I'm not say going as far as adding condition to wood - though that might be cool too, because it could require you do dry out wood to restore its condition.  It could just be as simple as burn time used determines recovery.  So, if I burn 2 cedars and 30 minutes in the fire is blown out, I can only recover 1 piece.  That's a pretty strong hit, but I feel it's much more balanced than losing all.

Can't complain, though.  The game is amazing.  Can't get enough interloper!
