Automatic log-book entries

While i appreciate it very much that you can write your own notes into the log-book, i wonder if it wouldn't be very cool, if special "events" would be logged automatically. I always try to write to the log-book every evening, but i just forget it most of the time -- wonder if other's have more discipline in doing so. But to my idea:

What about automatically filling the log-book with entries. For example: 

"Fought with a wolf today, nearly died but at the end i was able to defeat him." or "Sprained my ankle today when i climbed down a hill."

I think it shouldn't be to much work templating some sentences for common events and automatically adding them to the log-book.
