or Molson, or Whiskey or Maple Syrup? That jerky would taste so much better as would those crackers.

If you added some morale modifier like the cabin fever or illnesses (hypothermia, stomach) could affect, these purely Canadian goodies (Does Turduckin count? ;-) ) would help fend off bad morale or boost your happiness etc. 

perhaps arctic birds, musk ox, arctic fox, seals? (very useful blubber to eat/make things etc) salmon jerky or other meats as well left to smoke/dry for a long time very tough to do I would imagine but, cool)
