More ledge restriction annoyance

Last month, I posted a topic about ice sheets restricting movement. But it's not just ice sheets is it?

I've been restricted by snow on the roads (which makes travelling down the Pleasant Valley main road less than pleasant, also it breaks immersion), stairs and recently I had to navigate across a couple of ledges in the Dam transition zone.

Which is rather annoying (I nearly got killed in a blizzard white out a few games back, because I couldn't find my way back to the dam).

This is one of the problem areas I'm talking about. Doesn't look like it should be a problem, but try to step on that blue ledge and find out...

Here's another place where I get stuck for no good reason. I know I'm supposed to get up here somehow, but for some reason, the game just makes it annoyingly hard!

Here's another one, getting up the steps toward the Dam entrance (Mystery Lake side).
