Yeah me too. A very real touch especially in survival.

If my math is correct it would be around 45 rounds of 38. Special to equal 1 lb or 454 grams in weight (obviously just going on the weight of the projectile) and approximately 90 rounds would be close to one kilogram. 

Update: Box of 50 rounds in 130 grain weighs 1.51 lbs or .685 kg
