Pass Time Timelaps View

So there I was passing time on top of the lighthouse, working off cabin fever, while the bear paced down below on the ice. I was 45 days in to the hunted part one challenge just trying to survive as long as I could.

That's when I realized how amazing it would be if I I could view a timelaps of this great landscape rather than gazing at a blurred sleeping bag. Would this be possible or easy to implement. It would make for some really stunning timelaps views and allow us to appreciate this amazing environment hinterland has created even more.

I like this idea a lot.  I think it could make for some pretty engaging visuals to entertain the gamer while his character passed some time.
