  1. It is known that 30 days are given to complete the whiteout test. But what happens if you don’t have time to collect everything before the 30 days expire? Will the game continue, but only with a constant snowstorm? Or will a black screen appear with the words “you lost”? What will happen?

  2. I have an idea about mutant wolves. As we know, the Lankton mine was the epicenter of an energy explosion. As we know, during the Aurora, wolves are “charged” with energy and become green, stronger, more durable and possibly have faster regeneration. And this is only in the lower Big Bear regions, but what happened to the wolves living in the Lankton mine area? I'll try to explain! As you already know, there was a dump of waste on the territory of the mine, imagine that on the night of Aurora’s appearance some wolf tasted the waste and accordingly became poisoned. When the wolf was in a dying state, an energy explosion occurred. (Important: the wolf was still alive at the time of the explosion!!!) It is known that when a person is in a near-death state, a special device is used to bring him out of this state - a defibrillator. Information about the operation of the device is at the very bottom↓. The energy impulse was so powerful that it could affect the wolf’s body! The chemicals no longer have a negative effect on the wolf’s body, but on the contrary, they are absorbed! The wolf has mutated.

  3. Basic rules for survival in a quiet river valley. 1: travel only in clear weather or light snow. 2: never move in the fog; if the fog comes unexpectedly, try to find a cave or other shelter! 3: try to find shelter before evening (in my case, get to the bunker) 4: go out during fog or heavy snow only if absolutely necessary or if you know the road well! 5: start a new day with full performance! 6: Move through the ice caves so you can travel a long distance safely (watch out for the wolf in one of the caves!) Happy Survival! :)

  4. With the release of the new developer diary, my theories have been seriously shaken! In other words, with the appearance of strange waste in the Lankton mine, my theory about the energy transfer experiment may have been wrong! When I first read about waste, I began to come up with such theories and in such quantities that it would take two pages to fit! But out of all this, I chose two theories that are more similar to the truth! So, let's begin! Theory 1: As a result of operation, the machine overheated and required cooling. For cooling, water was required, which was taken from a nearby lake. After cooling, the water became toxic, but this was not noticed and the water was poured back into the lake. But when this was noticed it was too late. Theory 2: Liquefied gas was transported in barrels. As a result of the construction of the mine, extensive gas chambers were discovered, and in order not to waste the gas, it was distilled into a liquid state and packaged in barrels. After the first flash, gas poured out. I haven’t fully figured out how and why the wolves mutated, but perhaps you figured it out! Write!

  5. While going through the third episode, I noticed one little thing: phones. Why do phones continue to work despite a complete power outage!? I think the point is that, as Molly said: “The phones are connected, from one you can call everything.” Telephone lines extend beyond the lower Big Bear and into the backcountry. After the first flash, static electricity remained in the ground, and its power was enough to power the telephone network!

  6. After a year of playing the long dark, I developed wolfish paranoia! As soon as I see a wolf from afar, I crouch down with a revolver at the ready and creep up on the wolf, and when I do this I get very excited! As soon as I hear the “bark” of a wolf and the subsequent disturbing music, I jump in my chair. When I hear a dog bark sharply in the real world, I flinch. Once, to be on the safe side, I shot all the wolves on the Mysterious Lake (next to the administration of the camp site)! I also don’t like it when a wolf who recently walked in the distance suddenly disappears and doesn’t appear for a long time, and when you forget about this wolf he suddenly appears and is very scary! I’m also taking a big risk because I’m moving along a familiar route, but during a snowstorm, just to avoid meeting wolves!

There are a few countries from where zendesk is unreachable (on purpose). see:
    https://www.zendesk.nl/newsroom/articles/supporting-ukraine/#

Should that be the case in your situation, you may need to restart the government...
or contact Admin in DM - that might be easier.

...if you cannot reach the above link:

Like the rest of the world, we have watched with sorrow and anger as war unfolds in Ukraine. Our hearts break for the people of Ukraine, and we hope world leaders continue to look for swift paths to peace.

While we do not have any business operations in Ukraine, we are supporting our customers and partners there with payment relief so that they may continue to support their customers without interruption.

We’ve donated $400,000 USD to the International Rescue Committee and $300,000 USD to World Central Kitchen from our corporate giving entity, the Zendesk Foundation. These grants will help provide on-the-ground support for people in Ukraine, and aid the overwhelming influx of refugees entering Poland and neighboring countries. Zendesk is also matching employee donations of up to $100,000 USD to the International Rescue Committee. Via our Tech for Good program, we’re offering free software, and volunteers to assist with setup, to nonprofits providing aid, relocation and other services to the people of Ukraine. We welcome all applications here.

We’ve suspended all sales activities in Russia and Belarus. For our small number of existing customers there, we will, in compliance with sanctions and export controls, honor our current commitments but, as current subscription terms expire, exit these relationships.

We recognize the situation in Ukraine is rapidly evolving. We’re committed to continue looking for ways to support the people of Ukraine, neighboring countries, and all communities impacted by this event.

We support Ukraine. We stand for peace.

General troubleshooting advice, try mixing it up. Sign out of the Forums and see if the Support link works when logged out. Try a different browser. Try a different device. if you use a VPN, try disabling VPN. Or if you don't use VPN, maybe give one a try. Try connecting to a different network, like at a library or McDonalds or something. Or if you're on mobile an easy way is to simply shut off wi-fi and rely on mobile data for a few seconds--that counts as a separate network.

Basically you want to just try testing it and figure out if the problem is with the site itself (it isn't, since the rest of us can get in), your device, your browser, your internet connection, or possibly just your specific account.

I'm not sure..  I'm not big on tech knowledge I'm afraid..   but if you need to file a report I suggest sending admin a direct message.

Thank you all very much for your help in solving this problem! The matter really turned out to be in the region! After connecting the VPN, I was able to contact support! Thank you again for your advice and help! :)

    Most are in poor condition..

Unless htl says they can't be found beachcombing there's still a chance they could turn up.. it's just I've never had any.

It may be possible to obtain syrup from maples, for example, by cutting down a young maple tree.

  9. This started a month ago. I wanted to see the known errors of the game and clicked on the support portal button (the one located above). After 10 seconds of a white screen, I received a notification that this site was unavailable and could not be loaded. I tried to open the site from other devices but without success. I can’t open the site for a month, what should I do?

Up to the current build, it cannot be independently manufactured.  Beachcombing is the only way to get more maple syrup (which I have not actually seen happen) apart from any maple syrup that is found as a drop.

It turns out that maple syrup is still a renewable resource, you need to look for it on the beach!

  11. I have noticed that maple syrup spoils very quickly. I decided to look up the spoilage rate of syrup on Wiki. But I discovered that in total you can find only 6-7 bottles of syrup in the game world! But when I went to the Russian-language Wiki, I read that bottles of syrup can be washed ashore by the sea. I still don't understand if maple syrup is a renewable resource?

It is odd how they vary so much between players, .   I think the bears,or some of them, like that one in twm are set spawns..same as the pv farm and birch forest bear.. I've never had a run without them in over 4 years.

I once played on wanderer difficulty and had 2 bears, but when I started a new game on wanderer difficulty, I only found one bear.
