Okay now it makes sense. It's very confusing because with most games DLC is an accessible item right away. I watched a video of someone starting a new Survival game and they were able to pick between the original map or the DLC. So I thought my DLC wasn't working since I didn't have that option. They didn't explain that the option was unlocked by first traveling to the area. I can't speak for other gaming systems but on the Xbox Store there are several Reviews of people like myself stating they didn't get the DLC. To further confuse things my wife and I didn't start playing the Survival mode until after the DLC was released so we aren't sure what items are new vs old. I'm sure if we played the standard game before the DLC it would have been more obvious. We both absolutely love the game so please keep up the good work. I'm not sure if you have explained how to access the DLC before, if you did sorry I missed it. If not, it might be a good idea to put a message on the Survival game landing page. That way others will also have the aha moment. Thanks for clarifying, now I have some traveling to do!

Thank you! Just to add my wife purchased TFTFT yesterday on her Xbox Series X and the DLC wouldn't work for her either so she requested a refund from Microsoft.

This is not Play Anywhere or PC related. I bought both The Long Dark and the DLC TFTFT on 3/30/23 in the Xbox Store on my Xbox Series X. This was the initial release date for TFTFT on Xbox. The base game works fine but TFTFT has never worked. I have the latest update 2.16. The store says I own the DLC but when I load the game it's not there. I submitted a Ticket to Hinterland Support with multiple screenshots of my issue but haven't heard anything back. I have dealt with Xbox Support twice being run through the ringer and they can't help saying it's the game developer's issue. I tried to get a refund but it's beyond 14 days since purchase so Xbox refuses. I don't even want my money back, I want the DLC to work I see a lot of discussion about Xbox and PC Play Anywhere but I'm just trying to get the DLC working on my Xbox. Anyone else having this same issue? It's been almost 2 months since I paid for TFTFT and still nothing. If I uninstall the DLC and load the game it tells me to buy it. When I click to buy it says I already own it and around and around I go. I have done all troubleshooting steps including uninstalling and reinstalling the full game and DLC 3 times. I have even deleted my Cloud Save. I have rebooted my Xbox countless times. I'm stuck paying for something that doesn't work. I love the game and want the DLC to work. Almost every Review in the Xbox Store is someone dealing with my same issue so I know I'm not alone. Admins/Support please help!
