  1. Here is my very small wish list for this game haven been playing it since being one of the first backers all those years ago and really wanting to see this game be more than a walking simulator plus. 1) Be able to cast lead shot, balls, slugs. Harvest the lead from batteries, from weights on tires as tires almost always have some sort of balancing weight on them, old lead pipes from old ruin houses, old mine shacks/processing shacks. 2) Have a flintlock rifle and a flintlock shotgun. Or at least a flintlock pistol. This way the lead casted items can be used. For the flintlock rifle and shotgun you are always in the need to find flint as well as always in the need to find the various supplies to make powder. These would make it even more of a challenge because you would have to keep track of the condition of your flints, keep track of your supply of powder, and materials to craft shot/ball/slug that you will be on your toes as to will this be a good shot or am I just going to waste all of this material if I miss. The reload times will offset the benefits of attempting to use them as self defense as you only got one shot and you wont have time to reload if attacked. 3) Add sulfur, saltpeter, copper, tin, and other ores/minerals to the mines so we can harvest them for crafting. The mines are just so bare and aren't use for anything but travel between areas with a few bits of coal we can pick up, it's lame. We could find copper, tin, sulfur, other materials that we could craft with at the forges/furnaces. Imagine how much more interesting it would be for a player to have to find a good sturdy enough 2x4 and spend some time crafting it to a handle then finding a metal bed to cut down to craft a menial bare bones pick that they then use to harvest sufficient items from the mine walls to melt at the forge to craft better tools for mining. Then you can mine sulfur and saltpeter to mix with your charcoal to make the blackpowder. Dig out copper and tin to smelt into tools when the modern ones wear out. 4) Add ducks, geese, beaver, fox, muskrats and especially boars. The land is still just so barren and boring. Having the ability to harvest more animals would be great. Ducks and geese for meat and feathers, beaver fox and muskrats for clothes crafting, boars for their flammable lard, skins and meat. Boars would also give a more spread out and multiple enemy sort. You can get eggs from the ducks and geese, find babies to harvest for their down for jacket/coat/vest insulation repair, feathers for arrows/fishing gear. It'll add more for the player to do. 5) Add children snow sleds. Sure, there will be (or is now?) Travois. But flimsy plastic children sleds that you can find and then keep together by use of duct tape or sap based glue would be great addition to crafting. It would give you more to do, to find duct tape and or tap into a tree to gather sap then craft that sap and other items into a glue to patch your sled until it is too far gone to patch anymore. I tried to play the 30 day until blizzard challenge and it is just so boring slugging my way from one place and back to the garage because I can't carry a meaningful supply of stuff making most of that 30 days the boring task of walking back and forth. 6) Candles. Adding bear and boar fat that you can render into candles would be great. With the inability to really make proper wicks due to having to use tattered clothing remains you won't be able to make overpowered candles but could at least make something useful as there is still no real way to utilize the night time without wasting it on 'rest' when you aren't tired enough to sleep when there is no fuel or northern lights to power wherever you are. Edit: I forgot to put this 7) Bathing/washing clothes... Add crafting soap from charcoal, sulfur, and animal fat or finding soap so that you can wash yourself and your clothes. Every 10 to 12 days you start to feel unwell, then 15 to 17 days you get sick if you don't wash yourself. Also your clothes need to be scrubbed with sulfur/charcoal or aired over a fire in the smoke to neutralize your smell so you can hunt deer without them smelling you from a long way away/attract the wolves and bear to come get you. This would greatly improve the ability to do survival mode by giving more things to do.
