Not if it's invite only. Could be like Ghost Recon invite only & a restricted amount like 2 player multi-player. Again also if you don't want multi-player don't select it in the main menu, but give the option for the other people who do.

Please hear me out, in the end it would be an option that if you don't like it you don't have to select it... I know multi-player has been put down due to the idea behind the game, however it would bring a lot more people to the game for sure. Here's my idea for multi-player which in a way goes along with the main story. You and a friend start in a different region or at the least area of the same region & must find each other. Once you do you can survive together. I've played oit this idea with friends on other multi-player games like 7days to die & we love it. A lot of my friends are interested in this game however the game ends up getting overlooked by them due to lack of multi-player. I just can't convince them in a world where most games played are multi-player that this is worth a buy.
