    Thank you mate! Yeah I tried to keep the tone varied throughout to prevent it from getting stale. To be honest, when I had an idea for a collection, I started a pilgrim game and just traversed the world, jotting down interesting sights that could potentially be developed into a story. Again, greatly appreciate the feedback🙏🏼

    Hi guys. I’ve been playing TLD for almost 3 years now. I study English W/ Creative Writing at Queens’, Belfast. I have an idea to write 4 short stories (5000 words or less), all based on TLD and stories of surviving(or perishing). I also have a story planned based on Mystery Lake which takes places before the storm. I was wondering if you guys would be interested. I would publish them on Amazon Kindle (for free) for you guys to enjoy. As the time comes closer to finishing the project, I’ll post here again with a link. I have tried to contact hinterland regarding using their region names etc. hopefully they allow, as this would be a non-profitable project. I’m just really interested in Great Bear Island and believe it has massive potential for creative writing. Thanks!

    I play the long dark most nights, with my headphones on (for immersion) and my lights off. My friend also plays the game, and he mentioned to me that, while set up in the Farmstead, he began to hear strange noises (always coming from upstairs when he was downstairs). I decided to check it out, and set the difficulty to exactly what his was (stalker). We also both had a Muskeg spawn. After a few hours setting up, I heard nothing or seen nothing despite spending 6 in-game nights in the house. But then, it started. There’s someone or something in that house. I believe, in the games universe, there is an unmentioned horrific backstory to this house. I won’t spoil the happenings, but you guys should check it out. Pretty sure this was added alongside the Winters Embrace update, because PV farm has always been one of my go-to locations. Safe to say It is no more.
