  1. Here's some idea to make these stuff not too OP: 1. Electric Lighter : Extremely Rare and in dangerous places (Blackrock Mine/Bleak Inlet Cannery/TWM Summit/Final bunker) only have one per game, so you have to search in those places. 2. Sawmill : You have to GATHER PIECES, bring the pieces to active Milling Machine to assemble it before you can use it for the first time. The pieces (Chainblade, Body, Battery) are scattered on the forested area where nobody ever looked into before (For example clear cut in Mystery Lake, Wood Lot in Mountain Town ETC). It's propped up on a tree far away from usual walking path, so you have to walk into these forest looking for them ! 3. Electric Heated Jacket → Craftable using 1 heating element (rare loot) + moose hide + bear hide + Wire + Line. You have to arm yourself, kill a Moose and a bear, cure the hide before crafting this. 4. Sewing Machine → only available in Final bunker / locked room somewhere but the code is in the final bunker. 5. Electric stove → You need to craft Heating Coils using 10 scrap metal (require Quality tools to craft) in order to use one stove but last forever. This ensure you didn't exploit this early on. also this didn't provide warmth, you can only cook meat or boil water here. 6. Tazer → Just give this one away, Aurora infused wolf is fun ender
  2. With The tale DLC, we have more reason to be awake at night, especially during the Aurorra. Wouldn't it be nice if we got more stuff to work on during these time ? The world already more dangerous (due to crazed wildlife). Here's some example : 1. Electric (plasma) Lighter. → Like flashlight, but you can use it as firestarter 2-3 times per night during aurorra only. Durability didn't drop upon use (like mag lens) 2. Chainsaw. Cut Tree Limb Faster (45 minute → 15 minute) only usable during aurrora, durability decrease upon use, can only be repaired using Milling machine (Bleak inlet / Blackrock) 3. Electric heated Jacket → something you can wear on inner coat, give extra warmth bonus during aurorra. Durability degrade fast when get wet. 4. Sewing Machine. Something like milling machine, but for clothing item. Can repair ruined clothing, use less cloth materials and only usable during aurorra. 5. Electric Stove. Come on. There's no need for explanation here. Always ON during aurorra, but does not radiate heat to vicinity. 6. Tazer. Only usable during struggle with aurorra wolf. Didn't cause bleed, but ends the struggle very fast (or instantly) and causing it to ran away in fear. That's what I can think of for the moment, what's your thoughts ?
  3. I'd say this is nice idea for a challenge considering a touch from human pshycology. It would not hurt the game to have a mechanic just for a specific challenge. Like they did on Whiteout challenge (On whiteout there's a Calendar with fairly accurate weather forecast, which is something that would break survival mode) EPISODE 3 SPOILER BELOW : They have made insulin in episode 3, why not anti-depressant. To be realistic, even if you have the necessary skill to survive in Great bear for year or more, solitude on a deserted island is for sure make you depressed, even suicidal. The plane crash would definitely got you an injuries and maybe PTSD.
