    Yes that could be another advantage with no smell.

    Being able to eat ruined meat from level 5 cooking makes the game too easy in the late game. It would be nice to have some way to do something to meat like turning it into jerky (but cuts the calories in half or something). This would make the game more fun and require you to move around the map more in the late game rather than having 100's of kg's of meat lying somewhere for you to feast on endlessly.
