Quote this post, remove the quote by right clicking while holding CTRL and choose remove quote but keep contents.
Now you should be able to ... darn i keep forgetting you're on an Xbox -.- silly me.
Seems like it's impossible but there's still a way..., maybe you could ask an admin (to my knowledge moderators can't edit posts, yet) to remove the quote but keep contents for you, they can do it if they have the time for it. That should solve the issue, but only once though XD

Edit: Seem like only two images can be edit into your quote then the forum glitches out.
Disclaimer: all these pictures are Tbone's
Edit 2: After trying multiple times (using the exact same method) it finally works (adding the other pictures into your quote), i guess the definition of insanity does not apply when on this forum. (trying the same thing over and over again while expecting different results)

This thread is dedicated to amazing screenshots.

Be sure to put it into screenshot mode seeing as we don't all need a reminder that we're starving/freezing to death.

    i gladly would, if i had a computer :P

i use my xbox for all internet browsing. i have no phone or computer, so this makes it very difficult to share my screenshots or post links. which is the reason i havent been updating my music thread.

and that's odd, considering the xbox one is esentially a computer. it runs off of the windows 10 OS, and some guy even managed to get DOS on his xbox and boot up Duke Nukem 3D... so why cant i copy and paste and save pictures? -.-

Pm me your profile name and the pictures you'd like to have, i'll send them through Pm. (uploaded via my pc so you'd get a couple of links)
I don't need your password, nor would i ever ask for that.
Don't be afraid to ask it multiple times, after all i'm only here to help out people and brag about myself :D

    1. Top right corner, click log in, if already logged in, click on profile (second option once you clicked on your avatar)
    2. Scroll down 'till you see screenshots
    3. Right click desired screenshot and save as Hatchetrules

  5. Why i could see sitting added i fail to see why it should be added.

Its one of those features that have no point at all, like adding polka dancing or whistling. Feature without any practical implementation.

Damn, that's a neat idea 'whistling' they should also see if they could implement it, makes sense right.

Whistle at the wolf, or whistle at the deer to make it run towards wolf, probably asking the wrong person but whatever.

  6. I used to have a working WW1 service rifle with a bayonet, didn't used it was hanging above the stove until some gang members came and took it, they called themselves the police.

They also took the old man his uniform, his metal headbucket and some rounds.

Fighting for your country right? Hunting Nazi's right? It was all a lie.

I can only hope for a time where i can hunt down those gangmembers, but for now i ain't hunting.

For ever a wound in my brain.

Bought a pistol and a whole lot of bullets in a shop that sold beach toys somewhere in Spain (easiest purchase ever) couple of years after they took the rifle.

I bought the biggest most expensive rubber boat (was more like an IRB; rescue boat) there and when i walked outside a guy in my language approuched me (like he knew?) asked if i wanted to see the full stock the shop had to offer...

Fired up all the bullets before we went back to our country, when we came home the pistol was gone...

Still remains a mysterie today. But atleast we also went sight seeing in the Pyreeneen or however you spell that.

I also have two 150 year old extended assegai african spears that's been in the family for ~ a century now.

    + a persion dagger.

  7. How does one manages to sit without a bottom?

    Good questions!

The same way one manages to walk without any feet nor legs.

    Catch my drift?

On a more serious note; There's cars for all your sitting needs!

No really seriously now; i would love to sit my ash down from time to time and have a relaxing view of the breathtaking landscapes, perhaps put a car right over a cliff somewhere so the nose is facing a bit down so you'd have a very nice view from inside the car's front seats.

But you'd have to get in from the backseat then crawl to the front to get your reward.

And if you didn't stuff 50kg worth of stuff in the trunk the car would go sliding down the... nah that's taking it a bit too far.

Or yeah just give players the ability to sit and while they're at it, give players an ability to make makeshift chairs from deerhides, those that you can fold and don't weight more than a kg.

Would be cool to have a seat next to a fire right infront of a doorstep somewhere and you'd sit on it, a wolf would come close and you'd put your rifle up, completely relaxed and put a round straight between the wolves beady eyes.

  8. I sure hope Hinterland Staff take note of this and make it possible to shoot through chain link fences.

It'd be a bad oversight if bullet/arrow-proof chain link fences remain in The Long Dark.

You should be able to shoot through a chain link fence, but to be realistic there should be a chance of the bullet or arrow being deflected by it. OK, granted the .303 round will likely chug through without any great effect on it's trajectory (unlike a lighter round such as the .22 or 5.56), but the arrow would be knocked right off course if it grazed the fence.

The chain link should offer extra stability, much like a tripod does on big snipers, not make the bullet deflect, unless ofcourse you're going to shoot at the fence pole, you said it yourself a .303 round will slice clean through any fence, probably even through most fence posts.

And i don't see why arrows should go trough a chainlink fence, since an arrow trajectory is curved most people won't even be able to shoot trough a fence with holes twice the size of a chainlink fence, even at only 5 meters away, let alone hit a target on the other side.

  9. Playing it alone in complete darkness so i can see nothing besides my TV screen.

And exploring regions for the first time or re-exploring them in bad weather conditions, the risk of getting lost, the risk of thinking you know where you are but then you end up somewhere completely different.

The risk of permadeath and the graphics.

Kind of impossible to keep it down to only one thing though, atleast for me.
