Game keeps freezing and deleting my save!!

This is the second time its happened since the new update! When I exit out and go back in, I try to click load on my save icon and it just makes a fail noise and doesn't load! I exit out and return to try and reload and the game has just deleted my 94 day run after fighting through 2 maps, 2 bear attacks and countless wolf attacks! I'm vexed to say the least! Bring back my save game or I'll never play again. Such a shame cuz I enjoyed it very much but now I feel like I just wasted hours of my life after it deleted my long run for no reason! Done with this game
