#2953 - v.280 DP Bear Lies Down When Path Blocked

When a bear's pathing is blocked either by terrain or an active fire, it will lie down prior to attempting a new path. This especially odd when standing opposite a bear with a campfire in between, he just keeps lying down and getting up again.

Is this happening on a specific map or with a specific bear, or is it happening with multiple bears?

Thinking back this was with only one bear, at DP, that was sleeping when found him. Fell off a cliff to injure myself and allow several restored games so I could play with exactly how that bear died. I ended up seeing that strange animation a lot. Even when he was able to walk across the ice oblivious to my existence he would stop, lie down, get up, move in a new direction. Then stop, lie down, get up, lie down, get up, and go another direction. Then when I would get close he would stop, lie down, get up, and walk toward me. Also if he would charge me and be unable to reach me: lie down, get up, and either walk away or lie down again, get up, and charge again.

Same bear today, but I burned myself in a fire after shooting him. Reset from that point. "Lay down" animation no longer persistent. Waking a sleeping bear seems responsible.
