HUD Feedback

I really dislike the icon-based HUD. My issue is that the icons are so small that when I'm playing and focused on what's going on in the environment, I don't even notice the new icons show up if I'm already encumbered (an icon that stays on the screen). I play my PC on a 50 inch TV, so maybe this contributes to the issue, but I really wish there was an option for how big the icons are because I find myself suddenly very hungry/thirsty if I haven't checked in a while. I'm trying to get in the habit of checking my status often since I can no longer rely on the HUD for giving me pertinent information that I won't miss. Please give us a resizing option for the icons. Thank you.
