Found some Lantern Fuel in steering cabin on the Riken.

Walked back to the mine where I was staying and lantern fuel was gone.

We would need more details...

When you say the lantern fuel was gone - do you mean gone from the Riken after returning, or gone from a mine where you put it, or gone from your inventory?

If it was missing from a mine, we would need an F8 screenshot so that the team can examine which mine and location may have cause an issue.

Also, was this from a fresh run (assuming you're using v.270), or was it using a game save from a previous version?

Gone from my inventory.

Mine entrance was the one with the machinery out the front. Abandoned Mine No. 5 (West access)

Game was started pre v.270 and the game save where I lost the lantern fuel happened after v.270.
