Trapping Rabbits

I was in PV, on Jackrabbit Island trapping rabbits to repair my mitts, and I started thinking that this was too easy. You could hold up in that house forever without travelling more than 50 yards for food and firewood.

I started trying to think of a way to associate some risk to this in a way that would be a little more fun than just putting more wolves or having a bear path by.

My idea is this; Every time you collect a rabbit from a trap, there is a random chance that a handful of naked supermodels protesting for PETA would jump out from behind the trees and send you to the long dark by beating you to death with their protest signs.
