Mods for the long dark

I've been playing The Long Dark on my Mac quite a lot recently, but when I searched for modding methods for this game, it didn't really seem like it was possible for Mac users. Does anyone know if it is, and if so, how?

I believe the reason for this is because melonloader, the only modding tool that most developers use to mod the game, is only for PC as it is in beta right now. Modding on macs may be available in the future depending on the future development of melonloader. You can always install bootcamp Windows if you have an Intel Macbook and boot to Windows. It's what a friend of mine does and it works without a hitch.
