Witermute episode one glitch?

Ok so, i decided to finally play wintermute today and went through all the beginning cutscenes and stuff but when i get to the actual gameplay bit the animation seems to snap and get stuck, ive reset my game, my computer, and deleted and remade a save file. does anyone know whats going on? am i just being stupid? If you need anymore info just ask!

What service are you playing on(ex. Steam, Gamepass, etc) and what is your spec?

Im on steam and my specs are:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz   2.90 GHz = PROCESSOR

16.0 GB = installed RAM

64-bit operating system, x64-based processor = system type

Ok, I would suggest validating the game file’s integrity in steam. Just go to the game properties to do so. If that doesn’t work try submitting a support ticket. Good luck!
