About the wolves

Was playing stalker recently and when the wolves we're following me, they did not go for the distraction (deer meat) I was putting down behind and kept going straight for me. Also, earlier in the alpha, you could hear them growl more and bark when chasing you. I was completely ambushed by one without any audio warning at all. I wear headphones all the time and would be able to pick it up.
