FluffyGotKilled
"It was 6pm. Freezing cold outside. But i didn't eat for 3 days, i had to go hunting.I took out my trusty .303 cal out of the closet; it was full of dust, but the mechanics always worked. It never failed me.Heading out of my hut, i heard the howling of many hungry wolves. The Winter is the same for all of us after all, food ressources are failing. After 1h of walking in the cold snow, i finally saw him. The deer was magnificent: his brown hide was nearly glowing in the dark, reflecting the moonlight.I aimed.I shot.I missed. My pray started running wild, but the frenzy adrenaline rush made me run nearly as fast as him. After 5 minutes, he finally stopped. I hold my breath. Synchronized my heartbeat. With a perfectly still aim, i took my shot. He dropped dead. Harvesting what i could, i left the carcass to the wolves. I then headed back in my hut, where the warm of my always-lighten stove welcomed me."
