#348 Rifle white dot crosshair

When aiming down the sights of the rifle the white dot crosshair sometimes appears and sometimes does not. I am not sure if the former or the latter is supposed to happen. All I know is that I make 100% of the shots when the white dot is present and maybe 60-75% of the shots when the white dot is not visible. I've only seen this occur at Mystery Lake but I have not played the game long enough to see if it occurs elsewhere. I believe, but can't 100% verify, that the dot reappears after entering the cabin office. This bug has occurred rarely.

The white dot should not appear when you are aiming with the rifle. The intent is that you need to rely on the gun sights in that case. If you seeing the white dot appear when aiming, that is a bug! Will try to reproduce.

I did some trial and error in the game and I think this is why the white dot shows up: Crouching allows the white dot to remain when looking down the sights.

This is how I replicated it: Crouch then Aim rifle. This bug does not occur when you aim rifle and then crouch.

Confirmed. Crosshair is showing when aiming while crouching.
