Automate foraging a house for supplies

I loved exploring the new region last night - especially admiring that beautiful sky - and was excited to find a town full of buildings to explore (except for the wolf situation), but that excitement quickly turned to frustration when I realized how many individual cupboards and drawers there are in each house. I spent at least half my play time just going from container to container, clicking, waiting, and it get's really old really quick.

You should be able to automate this process, just like you do when you forage for wood. Game time would still pass as if you were doing it manually, but you can fast forward through all of it.

It would be pretty cool if all the supplies for the house were then arranged on the kitchen table afterwards as an inventory of what you found, then you can choose to take certain items and leave others.
