Comes off the rails in Episode 2

This game really is great, but the story is coming off the rails when you get to Jeremiah's cabin.
Survival training? Really? We've likely been hunting/crafting/repairing clothing this entire time. Also, the dude sends me off to fish. I go to fish. With any equipment at all you get over-encumbered. While you're fishing you have to keep a fire going to keep you alive. Then you get hungry. So you eat the fish. Lol see where I'm going? I was loving Episode 1 and now it's just becoming a chore to finish the story. 
"Watch out for the bear! He's a man-hunter!"
*Walks around for days without seeing a single bear.*
