Camp Office in ML totally dark at night in v.423. A bug?

The Camp Office at Mystery Lake is pitch black at night, rendering it useless even at dawn without a lantern. A fire in the upstairs stove only lit a few square feet and barely revealed the existence of the bed. This is nowhere realistic. The upstairs level at the Carter Dam had more "light" at night. And, I saw NO dwelling at the Coastal Highway this dark at night.
