Crash on Loading Sandbox if you click too early

My game crashes if I try to start sandbox mode and click the mouse before it says "press any key to continue". This is at any point on the black screen with a quote on it, prior to being ready to proceed. The game totally crashes (no error message - just says it stopped responding) and you need to restart again.

System spec:

Windows 8.1

2.7 ghz intel i7

8GB ram

GeForce GTX 765M SLI 2GB Graphics Card
