Verbal Queues- maybe I should put some pants on...

So I was thinking it may be nice to have the character give a single verbal signal if you go outside without a particular clothing item on. I recently (and on more than one occasion) took my boots and pants off to be inside. When it came time to go back outside, I ended up wandering around in the snow with no boots and no pants on for quite some time. Maybe had the guy or gal could say something about not wearing any of a certain item. This might be a good idea.
