The new update is still pending, adding rabid wolf and lazy bear which doesn't leave his cave ever, because he thinks it's still winter and sleeps all the time.

It is a bit random ... I could maybe have understood being able to read if it was a clear night but it was snowing quite heavily all the way through.
I love when is clear night full moon. But can't read because is too dark... I mean I have visibility for 500 meters or more but cant read a book in my hands theoretically...

I was spending the night in the car on the road leading to forsaken, during a very thick snowfall. Yet I managed to read a book through most of the night until roughly around 3am..  I did get out the car briefly and could've sworn I heard the Aurora ,very faintly ..  I'm wondering if there was an Aurora in forsaken and because I wasn't too far away from the entrance that that's why it allowed me to read.  Just out of curiosity though I tried mapping but it said it was too dark..
Anyone else noticed something like this?
Sometimes you can read but not mapping. Sometimes is to dark to break a chair but you can read tho. I dont really know what game considers too dark. Is quite random already for me.

You should be able to repair it as a game feature. With wood and scrap metal to give an extra inside temperature.Â

Were there no nightclubs in Great Bear?

Make sure you have good condition. Good rest. Open the door if you see snowflakes close the door and wait another day.

I was kidding about the perfume tho.

Right, you could find some shampoo or some expensive perfume to confuse the bear in running away.

Well during blizzard you could sacrifice some stamina just to warm yourself running to some safe place.

It does make me wonder sometimes how drinking boiled water straight off the fire,in a hot tin ,doesn't burn our mouths.
Imagine how would be to have to wait another 10 min so the tea or coffe is at a drinkable temp... funny

...not really. At the point the last of snow melts into water, the whole batch is merely around 1/2 C or 33/34F definitely not warm. liquid yes, but not "warm." Â
Yeah but you have to boil it after to make it potable, so boiling is not 1/2 C...

I guess water right after melting should privide a bit of warmth for a reduce period of time. Is warm tho... it would make sense not the same as the tea and coffee but halftime of that I think would be ok.

Thats mr. Trappers cabin. An old friend of mine I saved him from a bear attack long time ago.
