I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a backup of your save file when commencing a drunk TLD session.

If there was an actual NPC with a cache off goods he's trading I'd be tempted to kill him and take everything. If he's getting the goods from somewhere else then that suggests there's a route off Great Bear.

I suspect that the trader will be abstracted. So you leave items for him in a certain place and then return later to find them exchanged for something else.

Also, please no story elements in survival.

I really dislike this attitude. The game is very reasonably priced and has had years of free updates. The latest update is my favourite so far and there's plenty of time to tweak it to iron out any small issues it has. Hinterland were clear about what the DLC was and that it would be released piecemeal.

It kind of reminds me of how Paradox was in 2003 when Johan would be on the forums all the time and would just respond to any questions and post updates.

I stopped reading after the third paragraph. You don't need to convince me. I don't care how long it takes you, look after your people, get the game right, do the best you can. I bought TLD in a HumbleBundle for next to nothing and barely touched it for years, but one day it just clicked with me, I've bought the expansion, and bought the whole thing again on the Xbox, but with 1200 hours for well under £50 I've had a great value gaming experience.

There are always going to be people who like to hate. Honestly, **** them. You've made a great game here and you should be proud.

Also, where can I buy the Canadian flag hat?

It isn't a decision that can be reversed. This would require not updating the content of the game.

You can still play the old saves on Steam though, but not in the updated game.

This is why so many open world games are set on islands, they have natural borders. So, we just need Hinterland to fill the rest of Great Bear
