I've been playing for some time but i've never used  the bow, mostly because i find a rifle before thinking about the bow, and also because i suck ass with it.

So i'm wondering, what are some tips you guys have for using the bow??

And yes it takes some planning but getting 17 batteries' worth of lead (16 batteries plus 4 plates from the 17th) to Bleak Inlet is not an overall difficult task, just time consuming.  However it's also the only way to get to level 5 without failing a crafting attempt and wasting resources.

Well...I'll certainly have my work setup for some time.

BTW what's some stuff you consider difficult to actually do? Because most of the stuff in TLD isn't really that hard, just time consuming so i'm just wondering   

What if i crafted some gunpowder?? How much is one of those worth?

So i need like 16 car batteries? HOLY CRAP!

I know you need 100 for LV5. I have 2 car batteries now so i'm wondering if i'll need 4 or 5(cause i'm definitely getting 3). Edit: Spelling

Even so thanks for the advice, i'll make a trip there after i'm finished with curing my hides and making clothes and getting some bullets from bleak inlet

from my observations, you will typically always find some (bullets and casings) in each regions prime indoor locations, for example, like in the gas station on Coastal highway.   I tend to also find them at each of the hunter's blinds that i scavenge as well.  I think you will discover that you will find lots more rifle ammo as compare to casings.  Ammo is fairly abundant in this game, but do check everywhere.  In cars, container, lockers and storage boxes.  there's also  the randomly spawning bunkers in both CH and PV if you want to take advantage of recovering the maximum possible munitions. And don't forget to police your own brass.  you wouldn't believe how many casings I lost by "forgetting" to pick up my own spent brass...

by the time you've looted the map you'll probably also be hauling kilos of pistol ammo by then, lol!

I meant unloaded ones but loaded ones work too.

I just wanna know if there's some spots in the game where you can find loads of rifle shells. :P
