  1. I really don't see how anyone could get off an island with weather like Great Bear without electricity.  It's imperative to any modern internal combustion engine. I know someone already mentioned the deisels don't need electricity to run and that's half true. Does the engine itself need electricity to run? No. Do components of the fuel system such as the fuel pump need electricity to function? Absolutely. Unless you were to set up a gravity feed fuel tank and somehow find a diesel engine small enough to hand crank, since you wouldn't have a starter motor you'd have to do it by hand. Just the logistics of that alone is mighty steep.

  2. So I'm aware that the revolver is supposed to be a generic revolver but I was wondering since the rifle in game resembles the SMLE Number 1 if anyone had any idea as to what model of revolver the one in the game most resembles. To me it looks like a Smith and Wesson model I don't really have a reason for that other than the cylinder release, so if one of you happens to be a revolver connoisseur I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also damn you hinterland for not using the Mauser K98K :(

Most single meal MREs tend to be about 1,200 calories.

There has been discussion about just that kind of MRE and components somewhere. The real problem is not the idea, which sounds nice, but the cost on Hinterland to implement. One problem for the devs is they don't want to upset the applecart too much for that would require them to rework episodes 3 through 5. Maybe once the last episode goes live they can look at changes like that.

I mean we see the whole bag so I'm assuming it's not just the entree but Canadian MREs could be different than what I'm used to idk.

  4. I don't know if anyone has brought this up before kinda new to this whole forum thing. The MREs in game are kinda weak when compared to an actual MRE. The real ones if I'm not mistaken have about 3000 calories worth of food in them, have water activated heaters and matches in them. I don't really see a detriment to gameplay being that the MREs are already hard to find but this could give them a whole new level of usefulness.
